Online remarketer Autorola has celebrated 10 years in business.

The company, which first launched in 2006, now works with 10 manufacturers, including Kia since the end of 2015, runs UK and global online sales for a number of supercar brands, and has partnerships with the major car supermarkets.

The initial head count of 10 has more than trebled to over 30 staff, who operate at Autorola UK’s Macclesfield HQ. It offers, 15,000 vehicles for sale online, and counts 2,000 active buyers.

The most expensive car it has sold in its lifetime was a £300,000, substantially more than its average online sale price for cars – £8,650.

Looking back over the companies first 10 years of business, Jon Mitchell, Autorola UK sales director, said: “The philosophy of the Group from the outset has been to sell used vehicles online and over the past few  years UK remarketers have increasingly accepted its speed and convenience, when compared with physical auction.”

Autorola UK is one of 23 country subsidiaries in the Danish-based Autorola Group.
