Vehicle remarketing group BCA sold a total of 759 cars from auctions in Nottingham and Bedford.

The ‘Volkswagen Group Blockbuster’ auction of 5 September at BCA Nottingham, sold 419 out of 467 Volkswagens, Audis, Seats and Škodas, with an average 102.2% sale against CAP Clean and generating a turnover of £5.59m.

It attracted 104 registered buyers in person, and a further 404 participated via BCA Live Online.

On 9 September BCA Bedford staged a sale of vehicles from Jardine Motors Group, with which the auctioneer signed a remarketing agreement in April, during which 336 of 340 cars offered were sold.

Almost 300 buyers physically attended the auction, with a further 500 using BCA Live Online.

BCA, which appointed Daniel Burgess as commercial director this month, reported sales averaged 100% of the CAP Clean rate.
