Car Loan 4U has appointed Richard Law as a non-executive director as the company seeks to grow its presence in the UK used-car loan market, which it estimates is worth £7bn a year.
Law has spent the past year as a consultant at the web-led finance broker and is also chief executive officer of the north-west based identity verification company GB Group, which has a market capitalisation of over £100m.

Law commented: "I’m very excited about the opportunity for Car Loan 4U. Its approach to the market disrupts the current approach of lending in dealerships whilst building up previously unheard of levels of loyalty and repeat lending through its strong focus on customer service."
Car Loan 4U recently launched a mobile app and was the most searched-for online car intermediary at the start of 2013.
