Ben, the not-for-profit organization promoting worker wellness in the automotive sector, has launched a new fully-comprehensive package that companies can adopt for their employees.

The package, called Ben4Business, will be organised around four key pillars: BenAware, BenatWork, BenTraining and BackingBen.

BenAware will be focused on making employees aware that they can access Ben’s services freely and in total confidentiality.

Under BenatWork, HR departments will cooperate with Ben in tailoring wellbeing programmes for their staff. One such programme is BenHealthCheck, designed to assist employees in monitoring their own physical health and give them their ‘personal MOT’.

BenTraining instead focuses on the social side of work environments, and aims at building resilience through mental health wellness.

Finally, BackingBen is directed at informing businesses on how they can provide funding and support for Ben’s mission.

Jools Tait, business development director at Ben, said: “[The package’s] new approach will add value to automotive companies by helping protect the health and wellbeing of their employees, and therefore … can help sustain our industry.

“We look forward to working together with employers to create a tailored programme of awareness, training and income generating activities, to suit individual business needs. The companies that embrace a Ben4Business partnership will reap the rewards by improving their staff morale, retention and motivation.”
