
Close Brothers has added seven members of staff to its Scottish team, based in Livingston, West Lothian, including three new managers and four branch underwriters.
Stephen Walsh has been named as operations manager, responsible for the day-to-day running of the Scottish branch. Walsh has 13 years’ banking experience and has undertaken many roles ranging from managing consumer lending, to helping set up Lloyds TSB’s overseas contact centre.
Matt Maley becomes a sales manager, responsible for helping Scottish dealerships, and managing a team of five account manager dedicated to the region.
One of these managers is Mark Barker. Barker has previously worked at the Scottish Motor Trader Association, and has also spent time working in retail sales for a dealership in the past.
Joining as branch underwriters are: Owen McAdam, Raymond Maxwell, Laura Sandison and Scott McEwan.
