Daimler Fleet Management UK has recruited four sales staff, the most senior of them as a business sales manager.

The senior position was filled by Simon Barr. Barr has spent 20 years in the industry, and has experience of liaising with the public sector and guiding operators through the integration of electric vehicles in their fleet.

Oliver Oddfrey, meanwhile, moved over to Daimler Fleet Management to become internal account manager after a six year stint at Mercedes-Benz Retail Group in the fleet sales team.

Matthew Pretorius has become fleet sales manager, and will also support specialist channel customers such as bodyshops and rental and chauffeur operators. He previously worked at a Hitachi Capital Vehicles Solutions.

Finally, Ashley Boaden has joined as new business sales manager for the Midlands and North. He has 14 years’ experience in retail and fleet roles, most recently at Vauxhall in a similar role.
