Online classified site Exchange and Mart has joined forces with Dealerplus to launch a dealer finance service.

The agreement will allow traders to underwrite and package finance deals through giving dealers access to motor finance products and services.  Dealers that partnered with Exchange and Mart to create their website will be able to opt-in to Dealerplus’s website to place their own finance business.

Exchange and Mart first launched a mobile-responsive dealer website in April of this year, claiming that 71% of consumers used mobile searches to look for business locations such as dealerships.

The classified site said that the agreement would allow customers to make better informed decisions, and boost sales through generating higher levels of finance enquiries. Exchange and Mart said including dealer websites onto Dealerplus would be at no extra cost, and allow dealers to generate commission.

Thom Coupar-Evans, commercial director for Exchange and Mart said the service would give dealers the ability to realistically compete with direct lenders and aggregators, allowing ‘instant’ underwriting.

He said: “Their customers benefit from clear and concise information on the different financial products available, including a multiple funding calculator.
