Neil Hodson is to take over from Angela Barrow as managing director at ‘Service Plan’ provider EMaC from June. Barrow will remain at the company as an advisor to facilitate the transition.

Barrow has been with EMaC for 12 years, the majority of which were as managing director.

Hodson will take over as managing director on 1 June 2016. In 2014 he was appointed managing director of HPI, and became the deputy managing director of Cap Hpi after the company began working more closely with fellow Solera Group Company CAP.

According to EMaC, Hodson will be given the space to come in and stamp his own mark on the business.

Barrow said: "I wanted to say thank you to the many people who have supported EMaC during my time, it has been a fantastic 12 years seeing the company change and grow in the challenging UK motor trade sector.

"To facilitate the transition, I will remain as an advisor to EMaC and Innovation Group while all day to day matters will pass to Neil and the great team who have developed and supported me and our many clients over the last 12 years."
