Honda has released a straight
finance offer of three years 0% APR with monthly payments of less
then £200 on its new 2012 CBR Fireblade.

The deal from the biggest-selling
motorcycle brand in the UK comes in the wake of other
manufacturers, including
Yamaha
and
Ducati
, launching 0% APR finance offers in early 2012 and marks
a return to straight finance deals after Honda’s
summer extension on 0% APR for PCP products

At 900cc, the Fireblade also falls
within the 650cc-plus sector which is
growing as a proportion of the motorcycle market
and pushing up
the price of an average new bike in the UK.

A spokesperson for Honda said the
company expects a positive reaction from dealers in response to the
deal as it provides “an opportunity to sell more to the
customer”.

Honda offers finance through Honda
Finance Europe, the only brand other than BMW to regularly appear
among the top-sellers recorded by the Motorcycle Industry
Association and operate through a captive finance provider, a set
up the spokesperson said made such offerings “more efficient” and
“more concise” to dealer and customer.
