John Edwards has been appointed as managing director of the Individual Products Division of Jaguar Land Rover.
The division is responsible for ‘brand-extending’ products such as cars which the marques – and, they hope, their customers – hold in high esteem and may sell at a higher margin, but do not expect to be best-sellers, such as the Jaguar F-Type, referred to as ‘halo vehicles’.

Edwards will look after the ‘Engineered to Order’ line including accessories, licensing and merchandising, such as lifestyle products.
Edwards has built his career at the brands with a series of senior management positions, mostly at Land Rover where he was global brand director, European regional director and UK managing director.
