Vehicle remarketer Manheim has invested in The Car Group Limited, owner of online car-buying service wewantanycar.com.
The Car Group will operate on a standalone basis with the existing management team and brand. Vehicles acquired by the Car Group will be remarketed through Manheim, starting December 2013.

The Staffordshire-based Group was created in 2011 by current managing director Chris Bowen and has 60 sites across the UK, and employs 65 people.
In July, Manheim acquired IT firm Kingfisher , following the acquisition of Motors.co.uk in March 2012, and announced last week it had begun a stock-funding function alongside upgrades to its existing services.
