An auction on behalf of Nissan Motors held by car auction house Manheim on 13 May saw all 227 cars auctioned sold.
Cars were sold both on-site at The Oakley Court Hotel in Windsor, and to buyers bidding remotely.
Over 60 buyers registered, 40 of which attended remotely, with 133 of the vehicles sold online and over 92% receiving an online bid.
Dealers at the event were able to view the cars on a screen and bid in person, while for the first time those accessing the auction remotely were able to access it through Manheim’s Simulcast platform.
Dave Parry, general manager at Manheim, said: "This is the first time that Manheim has supported a physical off-site sale with the innovative use of online technology and we are very pleased with the results."
He added: "We are able to offer this solution from any location across the country and we look forward to continuing our partnership with them and further developing the way vehicles are sold in the UK. We plan to duplicate this sale with Nissan Motor GB again in the very near future."
