MotoNovo Finance has developed its digital
services, including its CRM strategy to ensure dealers are primed
for customers’ decision-making timeframes.
Google recently published research
identifying what it calls the Zero Moment of Truth (ZMOT)
concept, suggesting 74% of consumers in the US undertake their car
buying research at least four months before the actual
purchase.

Karl Werner, Head of Sales & Marketing
at MotoNovo Finance, said “given the speed with which the UK market
follows the US, the research provides some interesting thoughts,
which should not be ignored.”
The Google findings indicate consumers
actively seek out data to make informed objective buying decisions
and then immediately commit to a product, with 64% of MotoNovo
customers searching for information on pricing and
affordability.
Capitalising on this, Werner
added MotoNovo online would both aid customers finding
information and allow dealers to advertise stock to its finance
customer base, among
other recent website innovations from the lender.
“With finance quotes clearly displayed is
the used car stock from a growing portfolio of our dealers ready
and waiting to help that increasingly web savvy customer just when
and where they want it.”
