MotoNovo was recognised as the twelfth best company to work for in the UK in the Times’ annual ‘100 Best Companies to Work for’ 2017.

The independent lender was in themed-sized organisation category, and came between the Robinwood Activity Centre and Churchill Retirement Living.

The company was among the highest in the leadership category, as well as for staff wellbeing. The Times also recognised the company’s charity work, such as staff cooking a Christmas dinner for those who would otherwise not be able to afford it.

Group chief executive officer Mark Standish said: “We have a long-held vision; to be recognised as the UK’s leading independent motor finance company. ‘Leading’ has always been defined as having the Best People, Best Products & Services and delivering the Best Results.  The key foundation stone for all of this is having the Best People.

“Recognition in these prestigious awards for a third consecutive year is very gratifying, especially since it comes from team member feedback and against the backdrop of a major change project. Fuelled by the energy of our team, these are exciting times for all of us in MotoNovo and we can all look forward to the months and years ahead with real optimism.”

Also among the top 100 mid-sized companies was Toyota (GB) in 27th, Swansway Group at 54th, Auto Trader at 69th, Zenith at 90th, Motorpoint at 92nd and Zuto at 93rd.

Automotive was also represented among the best small companies to work for, with online car retailer Carwow entering the list at 9th. Vanarama reached 18th.
