Following last week’s finance offer from SsangYong on the Korando, Subaru UK has announced a pair of incentives on its XV crossover model.

The UK arm of the Japanese carmaker is offering the diesel-engine XV with interest-free credit on a three-year PCP deal until the end of June, while the price of the petrol version has been discounted.

The first offer will apply to the XV 2.0D S, SE and SE Lux Premium variants. In an example given by the manufacturer, the £24,295 XV 2.0D S will be available with a deposit of £5,876 followed by 36 monthly payments of £295 and a balloon option payment of £7,799.

The four petrol XV variants have each had their forecourt prices cut by £1,300, starting at £19,995.

The XV is also available with the option of one or two years’ interest free credit with a minimum 50% deposit, with customers settling the remainder at the end of the term.

The offers are available through Subrau Finance provided by Black Horse, the Lloyds Banking Group car finance operation which last week announced it will be providing finance for Jaguar Land Rover from February 2014.
