Our client, the asset finance division of a successful bank, is looking for a Head of Risk Management to join their team.
Responsibilities:
To deliver the asset finance risk strategy; the credit strategy and assurance, strategic system development, underwriting all transactional activity within the risk appetite
The management of the risk team and their continuing technical development

By GlobalDataTo oversee the credit risk management framework ensuring this is delivered, managed and monitored with suitable reporting to key stakeholders
Managing an effective internal control framework ensuring a first line assurance process for credit assessment and data related activities
Accurate reporting across the business channels to ensure asset finance remains within its risk appetite across the identified risk areas
Driving the credit strategy to support asset finance business growth within the group’s overall business strategy
Hold responsibility for day to day effective management of credit workflow
Experience:
An experienced financial services professional leader with a deep understanding of risk management within a regulatory scale financial services organisation, focusing on asset finance
A thorough understanding of business risk, credit risk, market risk and operational risk
Possessing the credibility and gravitas to be able to report to senior directors of the group
Willing to be involved fully in this hands-on role and deliver robust risk management capabilities for the asset finance division to achieve its business goals and strategy
