Close Motor Finance has expanded
its branch network with the announcement of a new outlet in
Swindon.

The branch – Close’s 11th – will
cover Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Bristol and Somerset, the
lender said, and will be headed up by Ryan Scaife.

Outstanding loans with dealers in
the area covered by the new branch will stay with their existing
account handlers, to avoid disruption, Close said.

A decision to place a new branch in
Swindon was taken in order to allow the lender to grow its business
with dealers “in and around Wales and Southampton, enabling these
existing southern branches to concentrate on territories more local
to them”, Close added.

Regional director for the south,
Paul Trail, said: “Increasing our coverage in the south-west will
open up Close’s unique proposition to a much larger number of
dealers.

“This will ensure they too are able to enjoy the benefits of a
local branch, manual underwriting, a familiar sales support team
and close contact from sales representatives local to the
area.”
