ING Car Lease has won a renewal of its contract to provide the
employees of Staffordshire County Council with company cars.
The 800 vehicles are to be provided on a sole-supply,
all-inclusive contract hire basis, with the deal falling within the
purview of the Government Procurement Agreement. A typical contract
lasts for three years, with mileage dependent on the individual
user, declared at the start of each agreement. Financial terms for
the contract were not released.

Nigel Peake, category manager in the council’s finance and
purchasing directorate said: “Being a public sector organisation, a
competitive tender was carried out and tenders evaluated against
the criteria contained in this tender. ING achieved the highest
score against these criteria.” In all, 19 lessors submitted offers
for the contract.
