contract to provide 600 light commercial vehicles to building
products supplier Jewson and Saint-Gobain, a supplier of
construction, manufacturing and consumer building
materials.
The leases are being run over three to five years, and include
full maintenance. “The LCV fleet requirement includes specialist
vehicles ranging from standard panel vans to dropsides, Lutons with
tail-lifts and glass carriers, delivered in a variety of colours
and liveries to support Jewson, Graham, Solaglas and other
Saint-Gobain businesses,” LVM said.

Lombard has had a relationship with Jewson, a subsidiary company
of Saint-Gobain, for over a decade, supplying it with a
3,000-strong car fleet.
Commenting on the deal, Denis Wellfare, Jewson’s transport
director, said: “One of the key factors in Lombard’s success was
the long-term relationship built over many years of working closely
with the Jewson and Saint-Gobain transport team.”
