New rental service online, all the time

Inchcape Fleet Solutions is to launch a
web-based rental management system, IRental, at the end of April,
which will allow customers to “place, view and amend vehicle hire
bookings 24/7 whilst also complementing the company’s current
rental process”, IFS said.

IRental gives IFS customers access to over 130,000 vehicles, and
means they can view past, present and future bookings, manage
invoices and fines, and read real-time management information
reporting, among other features.

IFS MD Terry Bartlett said: “[Our customers] increasingly want
tailormade solutions to meet their every business requirement.

“This sophisticated system gives our clients the ability to book
vehicles online with the guarantee that their vehicle will be
delivered within a two-hour turnaround at the click of a button.”
Bartlett added that anything from daily rental through to a
mini-lease could be arranged through IRental.

National Car Rental, Enterprise Rent a Car and Northgate Vehicle
Solutions along with a number of secondary suppliers all have
“long-standing partnerships” with IFS, the lessor said.
