£2m funding for Budget expansion
 
 
 

The Belfast and Stansted branches of Budget Rent-A-Car have
expanded their fleets significantly, with the help of £2m of
funding from Siemens Motor Contracts. The two Budget branches added
53 Kia Sedona, 50 Kia Sportage and 40 Kia cee’d vehicles to their
fleets, delivered in June.

The cars are funded on either a six-month or a 12-month contract
hire basis; Siemens and Kia have an ongoing relationship in the
field of contract hire agreements. Jim Close, Budget-Rent-A Car
regional manager said: “The ‘boutique’ nature of [Siemens’] business means they can innovate in a way the larger vehicle
leasing businesses cannot.

“Everyone in the Siemens team has clearly shown they know their
industry and the challenges our business faces, particularly when
it comes to providing flexible funding as we expand.”
