Vertu: 2008 results to meet
expectations

Motor retail group, Vertu Motors plc is to report that full year
financial results are in line with market expectations.

In a trading update on March 5, Vertu said it expanded
operations with the opening of a new Bristol Street Motor Nation
used car outlet in Doncaster in March.

On a like-for-like basis for Bristol Street Motors’ dealerships,
new car volumes sold to private customers rose 10 per cent, it
reported.

Except for the nearly new market, the used car market stayed
stable with residual value trends in line with previous years.

On a like-for-like basis, used car volumes at Bristol Street
Motors’ dealerships for September to January increased by almost 30
per cent.
