A report by British Car Auctions (BCA) of an online auction completing in just 82 seconds is further evidence of the increasing popularity of online reselling.
The sale saw a new record set in customer ‘click’ time as an Audi Q7 Quattro was bought for £21,250 online less than a minute and a half after it was listed.

Auction firm BCA has noted an increase in the popularity of online sales for some time; in February, over £3m was bid by BCA customers online in the space of a week.
With online channels providing detailed inspection reports, said D’Vidis Jacobs, commercial director of BCA, “buyers have all the information they need” when bidding electronically.
In a similar effort to provide additional services to online buyers, BCA competitor Manheim Remarketing has recently launched online selling tools for vendors unable to attend auction events.
