Andy Barratt has been appointed as chairman and managing director of Ford Britain, effective from 1 July 2015.
Barratt will replace Mark Ovenden, who is moving to Ford Sollers, a joint venture between Ford and JSC Sollers in Russia, where he will be president and chief executive officer.

Barratt has been director of sales for Ford Britain since July 2011, and before that was a director in the Ford Customer Service Division of Ford Britain. He has also worked as district sales manager for the company, and led UK sales teams in the Eastern and Northern UK regions.
Barratt’s replacement as director of sales is yet to be announced.
