The Recoveries Services Group (RSG) of retail and asset finance legal services provider Shoosmiths’ has become a finalist in the Institute of Customer Service UK Customer Satisfaction Awards 2013.

It is the only law firm nominated in the Customer Commitment Award category sponsored by telemarketing and outsourcing business Sitel.

The company became one of the first law firms to join the Credit Services Association in summer 2012, when it also underwent a revamp and merger.

Waine Mannix, partner and head of RSG credited the firm’s internal Treating Customers Fairly policy and a specific framework to ensure clients’ customers with mental health issues are identified at an early stage as being responsible for the nomination. Mannix will attend the awards ceremony in London on 26 February.
