Jameel Motors, the UK distributor of the Farizon SV electric van, has entered a nationwide aftersales support partnership with the AA, according to a press release.

The agreement includes servicing, maintenance, repairs and roadside assistance, delivered via the AA’s network of 213 workshops and more than 100 mobile technicians.

As part of the deal, Farizon SV customers will have access to a dedicated helpline and roadside assistance with an average response time of 49 minutes. A one-year AA Roadside Assistance package is included with each vehicle purchase and remains valid if the van changes hands.

Jameel Motors said the collaboration is designed to minimise vehicle downtime and improve convenience for fleet and business users. Kate McLaren, General Manager at Jameel Motors UK, said the company was “determined to instil absolute peace of mind” and described the AA partnership as “a strong proposition” for fleets and sole traders.

James Starling, Director of Business Services at the AA, said the company has “an award-winning track record for pioneering services that de-risk fleets” and added that it was “delighted to work with Jameel Motors on their EV van fleet”.

The Farizon SV is supported by a warranty package that includes a four-year or 120,000-mile vehicle warranty, eight-year or 120,000-mile battery warranty, a three-year paint warranty, and a ten-year anti-perforation warranty.

The van will be on display at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham from 29 April to 1 May, with a unit wrapped in AA livery showcased at the GreenFleet Decarbonisation Hub. Jameel Motors also confirmed plans to expand its Farizon franchise dealer network across the UK to enhance customer accessibility.
