British law firm Birketts has appointed Mark Henry as head of its automotive industry group.
The group contains specialists in automotive sector law and helps Birketts serve vehicle retailers, manufacturers, providers of finance and other actors in the industry.

Henry will combine his new role with being a partner in the corporate service team, Henry described his appointment as coinciding with "an exciting time in the automotive sector".
"Retail sales have been growing consistently for over two years in the UK and manufacturing also continues to be a success," he added.
Jonathan Agar, chief executive officer of Birketts, explained the appointment reflected a firm-wide move towards industry specialisation.
"Taking our motor industry sector specialism to the next level is one of a number of sector-based initiatives Birketts has identified," he said.
"Over the years the team has built a fantastic reputation within the region," he added.
"That sector knowledge and expertise has become increasingly recognised throughout the country and a number of new clients have been secured."
