The BVRLA said its first priority was helping leasing brokers in achieving, maintaining and demonstrating full compliance with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

There will also be opportunities for small and medium sized daily rental member who lack their own training resources.

Nora Leggett, BVRLA head of member services, said: "We want to increase the range of training, accreditation and professional development we offer as part of our wider commitment to maintain and improve standards within the industry. We will be working through our partners at the ICFM, Grosvenor Training, Manheim and Professional Inspiration Ltd to increase public confidence in the industry."

In 2014, the BVRLA hosted over 60 seminars, webinars, forums and workshops, and over 400 people received BVRLA training.
