UK- based Essential Fleet Services has appointed Ed Hummel as commercial director.
Hummel joined Essential Fleet Services from EurotaxGlass’s, a provider of automotive data and intelligence, where he held the role of managing director. He has previously worked in sales leadership roles with several automotive organisations including Honda, Volkswagen and Ford Motor Company.

Essential has operations spanning the North West, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the South East, and has a turnover of approximately £43m.
Up to earlier this year it was operating under the name Fleet and Passenger Services and it was renamed after a management buy-out by private equity firm Endless.
