Tracey McDermott, the acting head of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), was among those recognised in the Queen’s 90th Birthday honours.
She was awarded a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) ‘for services to Financial Services Consumers and Markets.’

The honour will likely cap off what has been an eventful 12 months for McDermott, who is due to step away from the regulator at the start of July.
McDermott only took over the role when her predecessor, Martin Wheatley, resigned in September, albeit on an interim basis.

Not all sections of the site have been updated yet. The News and Publications sections are both due to be updated in August.
