Mobilisights, Stellantis’ Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) subsidiary, has announced a partnership with OCTO, a global telematics firm, to develop new data-driven services for fleet managers, insurers, and mobility providers.

Mobilisights provides access to connected vehicle data from 14 Stellantis brands, while OCTO applies telematics and behavioural analysis to more than 20 million driver profiles worldwide. According to Alexandre Didonè, Account Executive for Fleets EMEA at Mobilisights, the partnership aims to “unlock the full potential of connected vehicle data in a secure and privacy-compliant way.” He said the companies are developing use cases such as rental services that use “advanced crash detection and reconstruction” to improve safety and incident management.

OCTO’s Chief Commercial Officer, Enrico Leopardi, described the agreement as “a key milestone” in enhancing connected mobility. He said combining Stellantis’ vehicle data with OCTO’s analytics tools would support the development of “new, high-value solutions for insurance and fleet management partners.”

The partnership reflects broader changes in the mobility sector, where electrification, automation, and sustainability are driving demand for data-based services aimed at improving safety, efficiency, and user experience.
