LeasePlan has appointed Patrick Steenvoorden as its Finance Director.
Steenvoorden will be responsible for driving the vehicle fleet management company’s financial performance, identifying and maximising opportunities as well as contributing to the growth agenda.

He has worked for LeasePlan for over nine years, holding a number of roles. Before his new appointment, he was the senior corporate vice president of risk management for LeasePlan. In the past he also worked as director of mergers and acquisitions and senior manager of corporate strategy and development.
Before joining the company, Steenvoorden worked for consultancies in the corporate finance field and lectured – part time- at the Universities of Amsterdam and Groningen.
In response to his new role, he said: "I am very excited with my new appointment and eager to get started. Having worked across numerous parts of the business over the past nine years I believe I have a firm understanding of both the organisation and the opportunities for growth.
