Experian announced in February it would be upgrading its services, including an automated alert feature, to aid dealerships.

Pendragon recently announced results for H1 2013, which posted improvements from the same period last year; pre-tax profit was £23.6m for the first half of 2013, an increase of 24% from H1 2012, from revenues of £2.015bn, an increase of 5% from the same period last year.

The increased revenue has come from improved performance in used and new retail car sales, which have increased by 8.5% and 20.2% respectively, on a like-for-like basis, due in-part to the impressive performance of the UK car market as a whole.
