Global fleet and leasing software provider Sofico, has appointed Peter Tanghe as director general of its new French division, Sofico Services France.
Belgium-based Sofico recently completed the restructuring of its French division following the acquisition of French fleet software provider Car Systems, nearly one year ago.

Tanghe will be responsible for the future development and growth of Sofico Services France.
He has a long track record with the company, having worked with Sofico for 15 years before joining a non-automotive software provider as head of the consultancy division in 2012.
A French automotive company Billiar is the French divisions’ first project to implement the global fleet software Miles.
Tanghe said: "We are now able to enhance and develop the Miles proposition to include short-term rental and truck rental, and to enrich the core product for all our customers, wherever they may be based. The Billiar implementation is the first Miles implementation we have undertaken as Sofico Services France, but we fully expect it to be the first of many."
