UK online retailer Motors.co.uk has revealed its ‘Carfuffle’ adverts have helped increased its mobile web traffic by 53% on tablets and 67% on smartphones.
Motors.co.uk director of marketing and business intelligence Dermot Kelleher said; "Since launching our ‘Carfuffle’ campaign, we’ve been able to see that advertising during comedy shows and films has been really effective in terms of generating response for our dealers, especially in the evenings when ‘time poor, cash rich’ adults sit down to relax after a hard day."

As a result the company has bought prime advertising slots across channels including Sky Movies Comedy, Comedy Central, Dave and Sky1 throughout November.
Kelleher said; "With the latest research from Deloitte showing smartphone usage at 72 per cent in the UK, and tablet ownership at over 25%, it’s unsurprising that dual-screening has become such common consumer behaviour."
