Lex has won a tender for a two-year preferred supplier agreement
with catering company Compass Group.

The agreement covers Compass’s 800-strong fleet of cars and
vans, and includes ancillary services such as pay-on-use
maintenance, a duty-of-care solution and daily rental alongside the
core products of contract hire and fleet management. Accident
management services will also be included from later this year.

Lex first started working with Compass five years ago, as one of
its three fleet contract hire suppliers.

Mick Morgan, head of supply chain at Compass Group, UK and
Ireland commented: “Over the past three years Lex has consistently
delivered an excellent standard of service, and on that evidence we
decided to move away from a multi-supplier agreement and work
exclusively with Lex.”

Nigel Stead, managing director of Lex said: “We are delighted
that Lex has been chosen above our competitors as the preferred
supplier of choice for a range of fleet products.”
