Competence Test goes live
 
 
 

The Finance & Leasing Association has announced that the
Competence Test for dealership staff will be available from October
1. The test, part of the FLA’s Specialist Automotive Finance (SAF)
campaign, will be available online and free of charge to dealership
staff who choose to participate. Its aim is to “raise standards and
improve skills for those involved in the sale of motor finance”,
the FLA said.

Paul Harrison, FLA policy advisor said: “The online test has now
been fully tested by our members and is ready to be launched to
dealership staff. We believe that SAF will help to increase
confidence in dealer finance by giving consumers more information
at the point of sale.”
