The Lincolnshire-based firm has
been chosen to supply the Ford Transit vehicles in several
instalments throughout 2010, with potential for another 12 vans to
be ordered next year.

The deal opens up an entirely new
relationship for TransLinc.

Mark Stevens, CHP’s logistics
manager, said that after an “intensive” tendering process,
TransLinc had been chosen for its “extensive client list, long
fleet management history and… customer service”.

CHP has used a fleet of Transit
vans since 2003. However, the new vehicles are more efficient and
are expected to reduce emissions and fuel bills through improved
fuel consumption.
