Leasedrive Velo will, in addition, replace 130 commercial
vehicles on contract hire for Palmer & Harvey over the next six
months, the lessor said.

Commercial director of Leasedrive Velo, Roddy Graham said that
the leasing company’s “transparent approach” along with its online
fleet management system Drive:Manager had been “key deciding
factors” in Palmer & Harvey’s choice, which followed a
competitive tender.
Graham added that a new fleet policy and vehicle management
review including risk management and duty of care concerns is to be
drawn up on Palmer & Harvey’s behalf.
Jim Glover, HR director at Palmer and Harvey commented: “The
sale and leaseback deal allows us to release capital investment
into our core activity. During the competitive tender exercise, we
were impressed with the dedicated account team structure, the
bespoke service delivery and pro-active team approach.”
