Lex will manage Taylor Wimpey’s fleet of 1,650 cars and vans as
well as a sale and leaseback of a fleet of 700 vehicles originally
held by George Wimpey prior to the merger of Taylor Woodrow Plc and
George Wimpey Plc.

Taylor Wimpey said the fleets comprised cars and vans. It
declined to disclose the value of the deals.

Taylor Woodrow had been an existing customer of Lex with a
six-year relationship, thus making Lex a prime contender for the
deals. However, the new contracts with the merged entity were won
through a competitive tender.

Lex said it won the tender process and the Taylor Wimpey
business after developing a unique proposal which drew on the
specialist knowledge and experience of the existing business and
new-business customer teams.
