The Wycombe-based provider of self-service coffee bars plans to
refresh its brand identity and roll out new concept coffee
machines. It received 17 units of the vans in full corporate livery
from LVM just before the New Year. The remaining 23 units are
expected to be delivered within the first quarter of 2008.
Volkswagen Transporters have been chosen to make up the new
fleet. LVM said it chose that model because the vans are compact
and have sufficient load capacity to accommodate equipment which
will be shuttled around to service coffee machines at Coffee Nation
outlets.
Through the course of the lease term LVM will also provide
Coffee Nation with the option to rent additional vehicles on a
daily basis to supplement its fleet should it require the
service.
“This was a challenging brief because our needs are so
comprehensive,” said Coffee Nation financial controller, James
Repper. “We want to ensure full duty of care compliance, which
requires vehicle tracking and a dedicated racking system. The fleet
provides us with important brand visibility, and in this instance
we also required the ability to deliver vehicles in full livery
with our new corporate identity. In addition we need the
flexibility of daily rentals.”
