Kalinke will take up the post as of March 1, and will oversee
BMW Financial Services UK until a permanent replacement for Dye is
recruited.

He has over 30 years of car industry experience, and was head of
Financial Services in Europe from 2006-2008. Prior to that, Kalinke
was head of strategy and marketing for the captive’s European
operations.

Kalinke commented: “I am looking forward to experiencing life in
the UK and overseeing the UK operations until Keith’s permanent
replacement is appointed. Keith has done a fantastic job and is
highly regarded by colleagues, our dealers and associates in the
car industry. I hope to carry on his good work and continue the
close partnerships he has nurtured over the years.”

Dye said: “I am confident that I am leaving the business in a
safe pair of hands in Christian, who has worked closely with us
over the years. Having spent more time than I planned here in the
UK, I am now looking forward to seeing the World Cup at home in the
summer and spending time with my family.”
