The company, which expects to
write more than £30 million in business by the end of the calendar
year, and which achieved a record £3.83 million sales total in
September, hopes to use Hyde’s experience to grow its presence
among the UK’s top 200 dealer groups.

In the seven years leading to
2008, Hyde was responsible for growing the turnover of Bentley
Financial Services from £6 million to £60 million
annually.

In a wider context, Bridford
is benefitting from the national trend of increased demand for
prestige vehicle finance.

The company has benefitted
from offering variable-rate dealer finance products where it sees
no competition from banks and other lenders.

Bridford has traded for 10
years and has relationships with around 50 dealer
groups.

Hyde said: “I approached
