Yorkshire-based JCC, the second-largest independent vehicle
crash repair centre chain in the UK, is taking 30 cars, a mixture
of Audi, BMW and Mercedes models, to be run on a fully maintained
basis. LVM will also supply seven single-vehicle Renault Mascot
transporters. LVM’s equipment leasing parent company Lombard Asset
Finance, meanwhile, is to fund a fleet of five-vehicle transporters
for JCC. LVM’s development director Stewart Ballantyne was in
charge of the deal.
MD of JCC, Barry Whittles said: “We have an existing
relationship with Lombard Asset Finance and it made sense to
discuss our fleet requirements with LVM.
“LVM has been extremely flexible and was prepared to fund the
transporters, which would normally be outside the scope of their
offering, which creates a neat one-stop solution for us.”

By GlobalDataLVM’s five year, 110-van contract renewal with Whitefriars
Housing Group, first reported in MF July, will include a recycling
element, the lessor said.
Certain LCV fittings such as racking and interior lighting will
be refurbished in-house by LVM and re-fitted to new vehicles, with
Whitefriars the first customer to go live with LVM’s recycling
initiative, following a successful trial.
LVM general sales manager Matt Dale said: “With the ability to
manage entire van builds and supply chains in-house it was a
natural step to develop this service, especially at a time of
increasing pressure on costs and environmental concern.”
