Insurance claims company Merlin Professional Claims Services has
awarded the contract for its 100-strong fleet to independent lessor
Zenith Vehicle Contracts.
The cars will be supplied on a three-year, fully-outsourced
contract hire basis, with maintenance, accident, hire and risk
management services all included.

The deal also involves a sale-and-leaseback element, with 31
cars currently owned by Merlin to be sold to Zenith, which will
then lease them back to the insurance company.
CFO of Merlin, Keith Broom said: “Zenith is an independent
company with the ability to provide personal service and innovative
solutions. We were also impressed by its considerable experience of
fleet outsourcing.”
