Steve Hood has been named as chairman and chief executive officer of TrustFord dealership.
He has replaced Stuart Kerr who has left the business to pursue opportunities elsewhere.

Hood was previously promoted to chief operating officer at the end of November, which was a new role at the time.
According to the Group, this job role will now be discontinued.
Before this Hood was strategy director at the dealer group, a role he took up after three years as the director of sales operations in Ford of Europe.
